99 Cent Store Project - Basket Light

This was my first project out of the two I had created. I got the idea by finding lava lamp rulers at the 99 cents only store. To me, the liquid inside the ruler reminded me of splatter paint. This influenced me to splatter paint the basket in neon colors, similar to the colors of the ruler. And, the best way to make neon colors show is to put it with a dark background, which is why the basket's main color is black. The basket and rulers created a funky chandelier. The best part about the chandelier is that the light goes through the little openings causing the shapes to show on the wall.-Chelsea
